The Utah Pig Bus is sustained by contributions of time, food, equipment, services, and legally permitted financial or in-kind support from people and businesses who care about our community.
Voluntary support
Contributions are voluntary and do not purchase drinks, admission, restricted-area privileges, or other unpromised benefits. In particular, contributions may not be used as disguised alcohol sales or consideration for furnishing alcohol.
Tax treatment
Unless a donation is expressly processed through a separately identified qualifying tax-exempt organization, do not assume that payments or donations to the Utah Pig Bus are tax deductible. The Pig Bus is not represented here as a registered 501(c)(3) charity.
Online contributions
Online contributions currently run through the crew’s GoFundMe campaign. Payment processing, receipts, terms, and any refund handling are governed by GoFundMe, not by this website.
Supporter recognition
A supporter’s name or logo may be displayed where permission has been obtained. Such recognition does not make that supporter an official University of Utah or Utah Athletics partner.
Alcohol-related products and supporters
Acceptance, promotion, or distribution of alcoholic beverage products and any producer/distributor/retailer support are permitted only after review for compliance with Utah law, including applicable restrictions on advertising, giveaways, donations, and event permits.
Merchandise
Merch is sold by order request: the website takes no payment. After you send an order, the crew emails the final total, including shipping and any tax, and how to pay. Items are printed to order by a print-on-demand partner after payment, so please check sizes first. If an item arrives damaged or misprinted, email the crew with a photo and we will work with the print partner to make it right.
Merchandise sales are independent of complimentary hospitality and never buy alcohol, admission, bus access, or special privileges.
No institutional endorsement
The Pig Bus is independent of the university, its athletics organizations, and Phi Delta Theta governing bodies.
